BGL Bank in Luxemborg :: Bolted Glass
This bank has recently erected a new headquarters building. For safety
and aesthic reasons, the parking garage is underground. Access to
the parking garage is made by means of an elevator at the ground
floor. The architect who designed the entrance pavilion has chosen
a very old fashioned steel structure, in order to have a maximum
contrast between the pavilion and the main building. This pavilion
had to be covered with glass, if possible with no visible support
at all in order to have maximum transparency. Our Rocket Foot system
has been chosen because it allows maximum glass dimensions with a
minimum number of spiders. Quite often when customers enter the bank
and see this pavilion, they ask how the glass is supported because
the spiders are almost invisible.
