Shah Alam Sports Complex, Selangor, Malaysia :: System III
Delta's System III is our most versatile and atrractive system. A
ball and tube system with solid steel spherical nodes and all round
pipe members. System III met the design challenge for the freespan
of 931 feet and cantilever of 226 feet (both are world's longest).
The use of multiple cranes during the erection phase hastened the
completion of this spectacular structure which covers 8.5 acres and
weighs 3.25 million pounds.
